US Vogue December 2010

Sorry girls.I bought the magazine to expect a large photo shoot (reality= just two pictures)

but I couldn't recognize who was who.

The only thing I know is that Steven Meisel took the photo,

and that Hyoni Kang + Tao Okamoto are somewhere in the photo.

Mouchette & Tetsuo

Yesterday, Joo showed us Mouchette (btw, I do like the ending, but somehow
yesterday I wasn't feeling really well, and reading subtitles got me tired)
and don't know why it felt like a really disturbing movie (emotionally. not graphically)
But I DID like the movie itself.

However, today. Art Theory.
OMG
I am not a big fan of psychopunk and I'm seriously weak to blood + grotesque stuff.
(But I like Park Chan Wook's work)
The movie was like an hour long and the professor made stops every twenty minutes to check whether his students were interested in this movie. (I eventually got angry because the professor was laughing and genuinely enjoying the movie. Plus, I don't get the point)

I was looking through my old pics and found this.

Not really old, but it was a five minute sketch for my friend's clothing line

(which I doubt he's going to use)

but still, looking at this, I realize that times goes on real fast.

first assignment

I think I always end up drawing/painting myself dead.

Was my first assignment for gouache, and my most liked portrait of all.

Ended up going to a dinner with some people. (2 in the morning)

I enjoy being alone, but I guess it's good to meet up with human beings time to time.

Finished it a few days ago.

I don't know why but I'm struggling to get some decent sleep.

I can't sleep until like 7am, and it's driving me nuts.

So, why not draw when I can.

How come I can't have the album?!?!?!? ....over sold... completely sold...

but then I was listening to the remixes

and realized there are more albums that I didn't listen yet.

This is almost my 50th time listening to No Turning Back.

I think I'm going to have a little fun doing my illustration assignment.

Surfing the net as always, and I encounter Numero's shoot with Anna Selezneva..
HAVE I SEEN THIS SOMEWHERE?????

Is this just me? or do they look.. similar??

I know that Vogue Korea tries to have this 'edgier' look on their editorials but come on.. they always try to imitate Vogue Paris or Italia for their shoots.. and sometimes it frustrates me cuz this is the reason why Vogue Korea is not very highly looked upon (is it just me and my friends????)

But I still like Han Hye Jin. (except for the shoot holding the cig and it just looks SOOOOOOOOOOOOO fake)

I.. yes. I had french in high school.
I had it for two years but I only know the basics. Suddenly I just want to start French again. Don't know why and don't ask me why.
I noticed that it took me a while to sketch on my black notebook I carry, so I am going to sketch anything small or big
or even start a piece whenever I can, or EVERYDAY. IF that's ever possible, to practice or I feel my hands are going to be stiff for the rest of the year...

Just randomly going through my files, (don't know why I'm in this "looking through my past files" mood lately)
I found the "Seven Models Special Edition" series downloaded...
my god...I had almost forgot about Fhifan's existance.. OH NO.

I remember how I used to say that I would like to have his face because my face is not pretty enough to be a girl.
hahaha and plus, I really envied his hair due to its length (always had a short cut..up till now even..)
and he's tall + he's a third generation korean but he lived 20 years in Japan. WHICH I SUUUPPPPEEERRRR ENVY.

AND CURRENTLY, I envy that he's going the DJing he always talked about.
plus, he looks younger with the hair cut he got recently. :-)

I was just randomly surfing through my favorites (since I have LOTS of them I just guessed.. why not clean up?)

Today, I guess I felt... somehow a slight urge to find out current Korean models -
